What We Believe

As a Christian church, Seventh-day Adventists are a faith community rooted in the beliefs described by the Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority in faith and conduct.  It is a revelation of God's character, plans and unchanging faithfulness.

Our knowledge of God, revealed through His word,  helps us understand His love, character, and grace. Experiencing that love begins a lifelong adventure in growth and service. This knowledge and experience powers our mission to tell the world about His love and His offer of salvation.

God's greatest desire is for you to see a clear picture of His character. When you see Him clearly, you will find His love irresistible.

There is one God, the creator of all things, eternally existing in three personalities - God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  God cares about us and is actively involved in our lives.

Jesus is God's unique Son - fully God and fully human.  His sinless life and substitutionary death and resurrection guarantees the believer victory over death and sin.   We are created in the image of God; yet by sin have inherited not only physical death but spiritual death which is separation from God.

We are Saved through Jesus sacrifice on the cross.

People are saved only by faith or trust in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross.  There is nothing we can do to earn salavation, but all who trust him are accepted as if they had never sinned.

Our ministry - to reveal God's saving power and his vision for you.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates, empowers and gifts believers to continue the ministry of Jesus.  We express our gratitude to God for His great salvation through our worship, obedience, and Christlike attitudes towards all mankind.

Jesus came to reveal God's character. Our ministry to our community is to point those around us to Jesus and His love for them.  God loves you, and wants to give you the highest quality of life imaginable. No, not a second-rate existence somewhere on earth, but the highest quality of life imaginable, here and in eternity with Him! That's what God wants us to have. The best!

Jesus is coming soon!

Jesus our intercessor, will soon personally appear and establish His righteous reign and bring an end to sin and death.  He is a leader that we can love and trust.

That's another great truth about friendship with God. It doesn't end in a cemetery, for God is planning a homecoming better than anything we can dream. A homecoming filled with angels, trumpets, Jesus, and resurrections! He's promised to bring His followers, those who have accepted the offer of His life-changing love, from this earth to His home, a place He calls heaven. A place where our friendship can go on growing forever, endlessly, joyfully!

Eternal life, peace, purpose, forgiveness, transforming grace, hope: Everything He promises is ours, because He's offering it and He's shown we can trust Him to do exactly as He promises. Accept His gifts, and you immediately become an active part of His family, and He joyfully becomes part of yours.
