A Note From Pastor Terry
I love October! It is my favorite month of the year. Why? First of all, it is the month that I was born. Secondly, I love the weather of October. Plus many other reasons. And now the third Sabbath of October is the anniversary of building our new church. So it is a very special month.
We have so much to be thankful for. God has been so good to us! I know Thanksgiving is not until November, but every month, every day is a time to be thankful.
The book of Psalms has many chapters of Thankfulness. David was very thankful for God protecting him and preserving his life. King Saul was paranoid. His goal was to kill David. God prevented anything from happening to David and brought him to the throne of Israel.
God pretects us and prevents things from happening to us all the time! We do not know how many times God and His angels have protected us and kept us alive.
So today I am thankful for life. I'm thankful for life here in America, the greatest place to live in this world. I'm thankful for my family and God's protection of them. My heart is filled with gratitude to God, and it makes me feel good to know how much God loves me and loves you! So count every day a blessing from God! It will change your outlook on life!
Psalm 136:1: "O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for his mercy endures forever." Pastor Terry
